QSFP-DD 0dBm modules currently available on the market offer flexibility beyond just 400G connections using 16QAM modulation. They also support 300G with 8QAM modulation and 200G with QPSK modulation. These additional modes allow you to tailor the module to meet specific bandwidth and coverage requirements. Crucially, the selection of the module's operating mode on both the host and DWDM sides can be managed directly from the network equipment using CMIS and C-CMIS standards.
